Ben Mackey
PGA General ManagerBen’s passion for golf can be traced back to his childhood, first picking up a club when he was 2 years old. While at Ferris State University, Ben became a PGA Professional while working at multiple courses throughout Michigan and Wisconsin. Post graduation, Ben spent time at The Golf Club at Oxford Greens (Oxford, CT) as the Head golf Professional, as well as a Director of Golf for Middlesex County, New Jersey.
With a demonstrated history of working in the recreational facilities and services industry, Ben is extremely excited to leverage his skills in this brand new facility!
Ben’s favorite course is Bethpage Black. “I think Bethpage is one of the best public courses I’ve ever played on, and I love being able to play it anytime at the facility. It’s beautiful: featuring massive bunkers, narrow fairways, and it always seems to keep me honest with my short game. I recommend hitting the driving range for a bit before taking on this beast of a course.”
Outside of the facility Ben loves to play basketball, explore new restaurants, and play 18 holes with buddies. He also loves to watch college football, his team of choice being the Wisconsin Badgers. He currently resides in Harrison, New Jersey.
